“TWO DAYS IN AUGUST”
Thursday & Friday, August 13 & 14
10:00am to 4:00pm
Watercolor or Acrylic
THIS CLASS IS FOR ALL LEVELS AND A GREAT START FOR BEGINNERS!
On Thursday, students will make a color wheel and dulling chart using the three primary colors: Cadmium Red medium, Ultramarine Blue and Lemon yellow plus white if using acrylics. Karen will paint charts in both mediums. Students are responsible for bringing acrylic or watercolor paint, and brushes. Paper will be provided for the charts.
On Friday, students will finish their charts and paint a still life in either watercolor or acrylic. (Students may paint another subject if they bring their own props or photo.)
PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENTS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN PAPER OR CANVAS FOR THE PAINTING ON FRIDAY.

This class is for all levels from beginners to advanced. In a non-threatening environment, Karen will help each student with their choice of subject on landscape, seascape, still life and buildings. She will also do a demo each week.
Everyone will bring their own photos or still life from which to work. Karen will help with color mixing, composition, contrast, perspective
